On the 6th, we had a wonderful rest day, although thunderstorms came and went all day long.

The weather forecast said thunderstorms would continue for the next 5 days.

So we decided to take a little drive . . . to check on the boat in Mexico.

July 7 was Dick's birthday, we spent the entire day in the car driving southward. As we approached Kenab Utah:

Lake Powell, Arizona:

Yikes! it was hot in Guaymas. At 6 am, it was 83° but felt like 90°. I stayed holed-up in our air-conditioned motel room. Thankfully Dick was able to get everything done on the boat and we were back on the road by 1 pm on the 8th.
