Our first Hawaiian "trail angel"

We met Richard a few days ago after we'd rowed to shore for the day. We had a great conversation. Today, we saw him again and the conversation continued. He is a fountain of information with regard to Hilo and Hawaii. Since he's an recently retired school teacher, we hit it off quickly. The angel part? Dick had several stops to make and Richard drove him all over, pointing out interesting sights and giving great tips along the way. Then they picked me up downton and we all drove back to where the dinghy was pulled up on the shore.
