This week in Reed's Bay

When I asked if I could take their picture, the girl on the second paddle board told her boyfriend to stand up and paddle. Poor guy. It wasn't easy and he lasted just long enough for the picture to be taken.

This poor guy made stand up paddle boarding look so difficult as he fell repeatedly.  Finally he sat down to paddle, but you could tell this was a very uncomfortable for his back.  It took him quite a while to get back to the shore.

This was a load in the dinghy.  Dave helped Dick get the outboard engine into a local shop for a little rewiring job.

This little guy was so cute as he tried to sneak up on tiny fish.  He literally crouched down and tiptoed stealthily.
Then he called over his little sister whose job it was to put the little fish in a bucket.
She offered to let me hold these two.  I declined.
This lady was learning to kayak. She stood in about 6 inches of water when she first sat down and then couldn't get going.  Her husband was very helpful and followed her along the shore for safety.  After a couple of passes, she told me tomorrow she was going out to the "big water" and then laughed.

  2. I find children to be so beautiful and innocent. This morning, a 7-year-old boy asked if I needed help pulling the dinghy up onto the beach. I could have done it myself but he was so cute, I couldn't resist. At the count of 3, I pulled on the bow, he pused on the stern. A young man in his 20s also offered help, but I told him I already all the strong muscles I needed. The 7-year-old just beamed.
