Breakfast at the Ding Dong Cafe before leaving town.

I-94 on one side of the Lake Wobegon Trail and I'm glad to be where I'm at.

There was a lot of debris on parts of the trail due to yesterday's storms.

Picturesque farms are everywhere.
Just before Albany, one branch of the trail makes an abrupt 90-degree turn to the north. Now, the scenery was even more beautiful. An abundance of blooming yarrow.

I give this spot the Best Bench of the Trail Award.

Across the covered bridge lies Holdingford.

I waited for Dick to catch up at the city park. This climbing structure was built by local service groups to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the railroad coming to town.
We rode the last 7 miles to Bowlus together. Jordie's Cafe is just off the trail.

Tonight we're staying with Jan and Jen, Warmshowers hosts. Last year Jan rode his fur-covered (even the pedals and kick stand) Suicide Bull bicycle in the annual 4th of July Bowlus parade. Suicide? Yes, the bike has no brakes.

Jan's bike is also fur-covered and has a pink udder hanging under the seat.

Miles completed = 2289
