We rewarded ourselves for sleeping on rocks last night by having a very good breakfast in Rochester. Today would be a relatively easier day, fewer miles and most of it downhill.
A farm B & B along the White River:
Our day ended in South Royalton where a campground was available but it was hardly (HARDly?) better than last night. Grass, a table, and a porta-toilet were the only improvements. There was NO water available anywhere, also no people to take our money, so we kept our fingers crossed that no manager/owner would show up. The posted rates were outrageous in our opinion. I would NOT recommend Henderson's Hide-a-Way to anyone.
