Our waitress brought a treat (not on the menu) at the end of our meal. That red berry is called Miracle Fruit. You scrape the flesh off and swirl it in your mouth for a while, then you bite into the lemon to discover it's incredibly sweet.
Later in the evening, we went to
to watch a hula performance by a local halau (hula school).
Audience participation time. Yikes. Ade and I were both selected and we did the best we could.
