Sewing Day

Hurray! Phyl bought a sewing machine. She had a few questions about her first projects. Here it was adding bias tape to a raw edge.

Success! A finished apron.

We copied a pattern for capris and added an in-seam pocket. Pants, shorts, capris must have pockets - all patterns should include them, but this one didn't. And we cut out all the pieces for a Vera-Bradley-type handbag. She's on her way.
