At Josette's baby shower (see blog entry for 10 April 10), after Josette opened my gift, sister-in-law Corrine leaned over and asked me if I might be able to make baby kimonos for her grandchild. At the time, she had no time line for this event. Last January, it did happen. Ruby was born to son Raymond and Chelsey.
At the time, Dick and I were in Mexico and giving a handmade gift was not so easy.
The patchwork bag is lined with the leftover material from the pink kimono.
