Rest Day
Why was this a rest day? Dick wanted to go back to Wegman's for dinner again. Today a big shipment of chile peppers from Hatch, New Mexico, had arrived and were featured throughout the store and in some of the menu items. We remember riding through Hatch NM when we did the Southern Tier Route, seeing chiles growing in the fields and covering rooftops of some homes as they dried.
