To Lake Crawford State Park near Farlington

Eastern Kansas has more hills but nothing to what we'll face in Missouri, so no complaining here. 

Coyville has a population of 98. At the one intersection in town, their list of firsts:

Barking dogs behind fences are a good thing.  I haven't been chased by a dog yet, but it's an ongoing fear I have when riding, especially when I'm not sure of the local leash laws. 

There are quite a few oil wells pumping away in the middle of crops.
