To Ely

Ahh! We had some cloud cover today, which meant it was cooler. That made me very happy. We had a lot of miles to cover today. I topped the first two summits - Pinto and Pancake - and kept going. But Dick as usual had the longer ride and the higher summits - Little Antelope and Robinson. Meanwhile, I drove on to Ely and scouted the available campgrounds.

The overcast skies continued to developed. Rain fell periodically, lightening strikes were visible in the distance. Dick rode for 10 minutes in BB-sized hail as he neared Ely.

I got the tent up in record time, thank goodness, because it really started to rain. No cooking tonight. It was nice to have a car and be able to drive to the nearby Subway for dinner.
